What a few months we’ve had in New England. Here are just a few of our household highlights:
- Fractured elbow
- Emergency appendectomy
- Hurricane with power outage (1 day, thankfully)
- 15 inches of snow with power outage (5 days)
- Fractured ankle
Needless to say, there’s been a bit of lackluster in my cooking. However, after plowing through several cans of soup during the freak October snow storm and running out of snow in which to store our freezer goods, we fired up the grill for these creations.
First, we had to dig out our tool – the grill is under there somewhere.
Chicken fingers for lunch
Bacon for brunch
French toast – not bad for cooking over a flame.
And for those hoping for a white Christmas, here are some images to temporarily fulfill your fantasies.
